Jenna Mahr

A lifelong Minnesotan, Jenna Mahr is currently a 7th grader at Northfield Middle School. An active young musician, she enjoys performing on piano and percussion and has been a member of the Northfield Youth Choir programs for five years. Additionally, she performs with Northfield’s Bethel Lutheran Church youth bell choir. Jenna composed her first work for piano at the age of three and has been writing off and on ever since.

Jenna’s interests outside of music include photography, stamping, collecting old keys, calligraphy, writing poetry, and creating art. A member of the NMS tennis team, as well as the band program, she also works on the school newspaper. While a student at Sibley Elementary School, she was the captain of the safety patrol and a member of the student council. She has had the good fortune of accompanying band tours to Britain and Ireland, Singapore, Mexico, and Norway. Among her favorite things to do is play with her younger sister, Hannah, and the family pooch, Stella. She is the daughter of Timothy and Jill Mahr.
