This arrangement of The Kings may be performed in the following ways to fit various ensembles and performance situations:

1. TTBB, with the entire baritone section singing the melody

2. TTBB, with baritone (or tenor) soloist and the baritones split between the second tenor and bass parts.

3. All in German or English, or the soloist in English with the chorale in German.

4. A mezzo-soprano or contralto singing the solo up an octave.
