About the Composer
Robert S. Frost
Robert FrostRobert S. Frost earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Education from Utah State University and his doctorate in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Formerly, he has held the position of secretary and vice president of Orchestra for the Utah Music Educators, and president of the National School Orchestra Association (1986 – 1988). Currently he holds the position of President-Elect for the Utah Chapter of ASA with NSOA. Dr. Frost has been guest lecturer and clinician and has conducted honor and clinic orchestras at many state, national, and international Music Educators Association conferences.
      Robert Frost is currently retired from the Cache County School District School District (Utah) after dedicating 30 years as a string specialist having taught strings and orchestra at the elementary, middle school, and senior high school levels. He directs the Cache Chamber Orchestra and is active as composer, arranger, author, and private teacher. Dr. Frost has over 180 works to his credit.
